Become a mentor to our high school students!
Our high school students are part of the Stewpot's Children and Youth Venturing Crew. Venturing Crew is an out-of-school program that meets on Wednesday evenings and provides enrichment and academic support. The Mentoring Program is an additional opportunity to enrich the lives of our students. Your skills and commitment can help further enrich the lives of our young scholars!
REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess an associate's/vocational degree (at minimum)
- Complete trainings
- Undergo background check
- Commit to two consecutive semesters of mentorship
- Meet with your mentee in person (in visible, public location) at least twice a month with activities lasting at least 1-2 hours.
- Complete monthly check-ins with the program coordinator
